Chapter 44: Alien Civilization's Communication Attempt

After listening to Buweiro's explanation, I felt as though my eyes had suddenly been opened. I couldn't help but ask on behalf of humanity, "If the upper levels of human society were now willing to cooperate with you, acknowledge your existence, and go public with it, would the Alliance agree? I know the Alliance is concerned about human nature, but there are good people, virtuous people, and sages among us. You could work with them as representatives of humanity." 

Although I already guessed the answer, I wanted to try anyway.  

"I completely understand your perspective, Brother Ji Wufan," Buweiro replied, "but it depends on whether the Alliance agrees. My suggestion is for humanity to first unite, overcome challenges, and work together to elevate your technology to the level of Primary civilization. Then, once your thinking became less complicated, the Alliance was willing to meet with you and discuss cooperation. Otherwise, it would have been similar to the meetings in the last century, which even led to some unpleasant incidents over the matter." Buweiro sighed bitterly at this point.  

Noticing my surprised expression, he asked: "Do you know about the 1947 incident in Roswell, New Mexico, where a UFO supposedly crashed?" 

"Of course I know." I replied, "It was a global sensation. If you spend much time on your phone scrolling through TikTok, it's easy to come across videos about it." I wondered if this was the 'meeting' Buweiro was referring to.  

"When humanity entered the technological age in the last century, with the First World War, the Second World War, and later the Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, it was a period of rapid technological advancement. At that time, some extraterrestrial civilizations hidden within the Solar system noticed humanity's progress and proposed to the Alliance that they could contact and cooperate with you.  

This particular extraterrestrial civilization wasn't part of the Alliance but was hiding within Jupiter in the Solar system. They envisioned using technology to push the entire Solar system into a Intermediate civilization, creating something akin to the floating cities seen in science fiction. For instance, space cities and stations, or cities built on each planet, turning the Solar system into a unified domain.  

Their vision was primarily for their own convenience, but the Alliance repeatedly refused their proposals.  

During the last century, as they observed humanity's technological explosion, this alien civilization, seeing that the Alliance would not approve, secretly approached the U.S. to collaborate, hoping to rapidly accelerate human development. They didn't care about the consequences and were prepared to leave if anything went wrong.  

However, the Alliance discovered this and issued multiple warnings, which went unheeded. Finally, one day, when this alien civilization's ship arrived in U.S. airspace, it was shot down and crashed to the ground, where it was retrieved by the U.S. military. This is the true origin of the famous 'Roswell UFO Crash Incident'." (see Figure 44.1)

"Oh, I see. Short videos online claim that the U.S. military took away the UFO wreckage and alien corpses. They also supposedly studied the internal structure of the UFO and gained access to alien technology, which is why American technology has always been far ahead of the rest of the world. Is that true?" I asked Buweiro in shock.  

"They didn't acquire any technology. If they had, that country would have dominated the world by now—why would they still be waiting? The rapid progress in American technology in later years is actually closely tied to talent from your country.  

What you see online are all rumors. The U.S. military did indeed take away the UFO wreckage and alien corpses, but the two bodies were substitutes I mentioned earlier. They had no research value. Before the military could even study the UFO, the Alliance used technology to hypnotize them and take the wreckage away. When they woke up, they had their suspicions but were powerless to do anything about it." 

"Hahaha." I couldn't help laughing when I heard that such a powerful country as the United States had to suffer a great loss and could only swallow its bitterness in silence, and had to bear the suspicion of the whole world without being able to defend itself.

"By the way, what about Area-51? There are rumors that it's a secret base where the U.S. collaborates with aliens or studies alien technology. Is that true?" I asked. The U.S. is such a selfish and domineering country. It gets a lot of things that do not belong to it, but does not share them with other human beings. Instead, it tries its best to cover up and deceive the world, allowing capitalists to make fortune in secret.  

"It's just a cover-up base with no real core value. The U.S. develops its own technology in secret, but it's primarily thanks to the talent from your country. It has nothing to do with alien technology. As for actual alien bases, they are well-hidden and would never allow other countries to discover them." Buweiro smiled as he explained, and I could understand the reasoning behind his latter points.  

"The Alliance really doesn't want to work with us humans, huh? Such a pity!" I said, feeling somewhat disappointed.  

"The Interstellar Alliance isn't the only group with this idea. There are other alien species that also refuse to cooperate with you. Let me give you two examples.  

Last century, when the U.S. and Soviet Union launched probes to Mars, you're aware of that, right? Later, they discovered a giant face on Mars. (Figure 44.2) The incident shocked all of humanity.

It is actually the work of an alien species hiding on Mars, also referred to as Martians. The discoveries by the two nations alarmed the Martians, prompting them to react. To avoid human interference, they concealed the giant face on Mars, intercepted the probes launched by the two nations, and issued warnings, threatening them in English to leave and never return.

This is also the reason why the U.S. and the Soviet Union stopped exploring Mars. Both nations suspected that humanity was being restricted. To break free of these limitations, they realized they would need the consent of the alien forces behind the scenes."

"The Martians warned and threatened the U.S. and the Soviet Union. No wonder the U.S. stopped exploring Mars after the Cold War—and even the Moon too. So that's what happened. But does that mean the aliens on the Moon also issued warnings to the U.S. and the Soviet Union?" I muttered to myself.  

"They did indeed receive warnings from the aliens hiding on the Moon and Mars. However, they didn't completely give up and occasionally continued exploring the Moon and Mars. The Alliance worried that those aliens might take action against humanity, and because you were not aware enough, we blocked your technology. This is why your technology has not been able to break through over the years, and why there has not been much progress in exploring other planets.

I nodded to show I understood. As we discussed Mars, I suddenly thought of the "Mars Boy" (Figure 44.3) and curiously asked: "Do you know about the rumors of the 'Mars Boy' reincarnating on Earth? Is it true? If so, is he warning humanity in this way?"

"The reincarnation of the Martian is real. He was a native, ancient Martian. As I mentioned, the quantum consciousness of a living being can sometimes leave its body and accidentally enter other dimensions. If fortune smiles upon them, they can reincarnate into another life form.  

Although the probability is one in ten thousand, it did happen on the Earth. The consciousness of the ancient Martian awakened, crossed dimensions, and reincarnated into a human boy. Due to his extraordinary abilities, he could sense certain frequencies of the future and make predictions.  

But you can just listen to it, don't take it seriously, because the future is just a prediction, it can't be 100% certain, as long as the future situation has not happened, it will change at any time." Buweiro's explanation made me feel like a fortune teller was talking big to me.
