Chapter 36: The Ancestors Yan Huang and Noah's Ark

"Alright," I nodded, signaling my understanding. After a moment of silence, I asked Buweiro: "What happened to the Di Jun civilization after that?"

"The Di Jun civilization, which was driven out of Asia, brought a group of ancient humans and evacuated all bases in Asia. They were settled in a lush primeval forest. The Di Jun civilization built a beautiful palace for these ancient people, which was later called 'Eden'.

This place is located in what is now the Mesopotamian Plain. However, back then, it wasn't a grassland but a forest rich in resources. Once the early humans had adapted to the local environment, the Di Jun civilization began sending out one man and one woman at a time to acclimate to the new world. The first man and woman to leave were later known as 'Adam' and 'Eve'."

Hearing this, my eyes widened in surprise. I asked Buweiro in confusion, "That... doesn't seem right. The Bible says that God created Adam and then made Eve from Adam's rib. They were tempted by the serpent in Eden, ate the forbidden fruit, and were cast out..."

"As I've mentioned before, early humans had no writing or paper to record history. They could only pass down stories orally. Over time, these tales would change. Sometimes, extreme rulers would secretly alter or even destroy historical records and myths. For various reasons, the histories and myths passed down to later generations became muddled—truth and lies intertwined, hard to discern.

Think about it carefully. If there were an all-knowing God, wouldn't He foresee Adam and Eve's future? Back then, everything was deliberately orchestrated by Di Jun civilization. Through experiments, they even modified the genes and DNA of the first batch of early humans brought to this place. That's why the earliest people in Eden, as well as their descendants, lived exceptionally long lives. Later, as their genes weakened, lifespans gradually normalized."

Buweiro explained this patiently to me.

"Alright, I must admit I don't know much about Western history, so let's talk about the ancient myths and history of our own country. Yesterday, you told me about the origins of Fuxi and Nüwa. According to the evolution of Chinese historical myths, the period of the Three Sovereigns 三皇 was followed by the Five Emperors 五帝. The Chinese people are often referred to as the 'descendants of Yan and Huang' 炎黄子孙, meaning the descendants of the Emperor Yan and Huang (Yellow Emperor).

You mentioned before that the Emperor Yan was connected to the Taoist civilization, and the Yellow Emperor was connected to the Sirius civilization. So, were the subsequent Five Emperors also connected to alien civilizations? And did you intervene in the later history of China? When exactly did you seal off the Solar system and the Earth?"

"The Emperor Yan from your legends is indeed connected only to the Taoist civilization. The Taoist civilization applied its research results to Emperor Yan, modifying his body to make him immune to all poisons and grant him a long lifespan. Otherwise, an ordinary person trying so many herbs would have died of poisoning long ago. This is also the origin of your Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I've told you before about the wonders of Chinese medicine, but now it's fading. If not valued, it will eventually become just a legend."

Seeing me smile bitterly, Buweiro changed the subject and continued, "In Emperor Yan's later years, your ancestral founders Fuxi and Nüwa were nearing the end of their lives. The Sirius civilization cultivated a new tribal leader—your cultural ancestor, Yellow Emperor.

At that time, the advanced Taoist civilization had already left the Earth. Because the Taoist civilization left a good impression on many alien races, the Sirius civilization proposed that Yellow Emperor's tribe unite with Emperor Yan's tribe.

Initially, Emperor Yan was unwilling. However, the Sirius civilization didn't force the issue; they merely allowed Yellow Emperor's tribe to deliver a small warning. Seeing the tide turning against him, Emperor Yan had no choice but to agree. The two tribes then merged and expanded, which is why your ancestral legends about Emperor Yan and Yellow Emperor contain so many mystical elements."

Seeing that I was listening intently, Buweiro smiled and continued, "Under the leadership of these two figures, your ancient tribe has been expanding its land area, and later gradually affected another powerful tribe—the 'Chiyou tribe' 蚩尤. If this tribe had been just an ordinary tribe of early humans, it would have been annexed long ago. However, it wasn't. The Chiyou Tribe was an experimental base of the Cancer constellation's alien civilization. Many mutated life forms in the tribe were not human, which explains the strange elements in your legends about the Chiyou Tribe."

"Initially, the conflicts between the tribes were just minor skirmishes. However, after Emperor Yan's tribe joined forces with Yellow Emperor's tribe, the scale of the battles gradually expanded. At this exact moment, the Earth witnessed the last great Interstellar War among all alien civilizations.

As the conflict escalated, it intertwined with the legendary Battle of Emperor Yan and Yellow Emperor, against Chiyou. The strange and fantastical elements of these myths actually reflect the chaos caused by the Interstellar War. Due to the Sirius civilization's long-established presence on the Earth and its bases across other planets, it managed to preserve its experimental base — Emperor Yan and Yellow Emperor's tribe—laying the foundation for the continuation of Chinese civilization to this day."

"What about the defeated alien races? Were they driven out? Did they sign any treaties like those humiliating agreements in human history?" I couldn't help but ask as the story reached its climax.

"There were no 'defeated' alien races, only those who suffered losses. As for treaties, there were none. After all, they were all Primary civilizations. Pushing any group too hard could lead to mutual destruction, and nobody wanted the worst-case scenario. Primary civilizations, when pushed to the brink, are capable of destroying the Earth.  

Once a civilization advances to the Primary level, concepts like countries and religions, along with many other societal constructs, dissolve and are discarded. Civilization transitions into what could be considered a 'global village', devoid of the notions of nations or ethnicity."

Buweiro gave me a meaningful look and continued: "The era of Yellow Emperor marked the last large-scale war among alien species. This battle was far more devastating than the minor skirmishes the Draco civilization had previously engaged in with a few alien groups. At that time, aside from the Interstellar Alliance, all other alien races were forced to participate. The war ravaged the Earth, causing the sky to collapse, the Sun and Moon to dim, and mountains and continents to shift.

This is why, for over 4,000 years, strange and fantastical legends have been passed down worldwide. During this period, massive floods occurred globally, scattering or destroying countless early human tribes.

 In ancient China, your leader Yellow Emperor met the elderly Fuxi once. Fuxi passed on significant knowledge and experience to him and led many people to higher ground to escape the catastrophe.

Meanwhile, the descendants of the early humans settled in the Mesopotamian Plain—those who had been transported there by Adam and Eve—built a massive ship during this great flood. They stocked it with food and water to survive the disaster. This story was later immortalized as the legend of 'Noah's Ark' and other creation myths."

'What? The Noah's Ark story is real and actually happened during Yellow Emperor's time! What about the earliest humans—the ones Adam and Eve brought to the plain?' I asked Buweiro in astonishment.

"The original humans who settled in the Mesopotamian Plain had all died of old age by Noah's time. The so-called Adam and Eve didn't live for 800-900 years as the myths claim. The longest lifespan granted to early humans by ancient alien civilizations was only a few centuries. They wouldn't invest too much in an experimental subject." Buweiro's explanation left me stunned.

"After your ancestors' battles and this Interstellar War, the Interstellar Alliance stepped in to clean up the mess and solidified the decision to seal off our Solar system. This was to prevent these troublemakers from stirring up chaos and leaving it unresolved.

With the resolute attitude of the Alliance, the application to the Star Federation Union to blockade the Solar system was approved. With their support, we first used electromagnetic gravitational mirror technology to block the Solar system, so that the alien civilization passing by would not easily discover our Solar system and avoid being disturbed. Then we placed anti-gravity missiles in various planets, many satellites, and countless meteorites in the Solar system and connected them in series. Finally, we formulated the Alliance Treaty and required all alien races to strictly abide by them.

Some alien species complied, joined the Alliance, and adhered to its rules, while others chose to leave the Solar system. As for those unwilling to abide by the treaties but also reluctant to leave, the Alliance requested the Star Federation Union to intervene and issue a warning.

In truth, the Enforcement Team merely delivered a single warning, and the alien species that did not obey the rules promptly departed. Primary civilizations dare not challenge the a Super civilization, so the Alliance's progressed smoothly."

Having understood the backstory, I couldn't help but ask another question:

"During Yellow Emperor's era, the Solar system was sealed off. Did other alien species or alliances continue to influence early humans afterward? The legendary battle between Yellow Emperor and Chiyou is incredible. I heard you explain that it was caused by the technological collision between the two alien races.

But what about Yellow Emperor's ultimate fate? Did he, like Adam and Eve, simply grow old and die? According to mythology, Yellow Emperor ascended on a divine dragon amidst the cheers of the people. What's the truth behind this?"

"Let's start with Yellow Emperor himself. Yellow Emperor was an exceptionally intelligent leader, skilled at inventing, uniting his people, and diligently managing affairs. In his era, all early humans worshiped alien civilizations as deities. Yellow Emperor, however, thought differently. Not only did he understand the technological basis of these civilizations, but as he aged, he also mastered their complex and advanced knowledge. This made him an exceptionally wise and unique figure among early humans.

Yellow Emperor's uniqueness intrigued the Sirius civilization. Coupled with his ability to manage tribes meticulously, expand territory, and achieve remarkable feats, the Sirius civilization grew increasingly interested in him. Near the end of his life, Yellow Emperor begged the Sirius civilization to take him away and extend his lifespan.

His wish was granted, which greatly excited the aging Yellow Emperor. However, after living peacefully with the early humans for over a century, he had developed deep emotional ties with his people, and they couldn't bear to part with him.

Yellow Emperor was reluctant to stay, yet he regretted leaving as well. Before departing, he taught his descendants the art of bronze smelting and left behind a Great Cauldron 大鼎 as a symbol of faith and unity for his people. Yellow Emperor departed in a spacecraft, but as your ancestors couldn't comprehend this, the story transformed into a myth of him riding a divine dragon."

Learning that some of our ancient ancestors left the Earth with the Sirius civilization filled me with both pride and reverence, and I couldn't help but hope that Yellow Emperor might still be alive today.

As Buweiro continued: "After the Alliance sealed the Solar system, they had to clean up the mess left by the war, as the Earth had been devastated. This is why later humans couldn't find traces of ancient civilizations or alien influences on the Earth, aside from a few symbolic relics left behind, such as the pyramids. These relics were meant to inspire future generations' creativity and innovation.

Once the Alliance cleared the surface ruins, they focused on restoring the Earth's vitality. They imposed strict rules on the remaining alien species, prohibiting them from conducting experiments or interfering with the Earth's environment. Any research had to be conducted in spaces they created themselves, away from the planet. However, the alien species were allowed to observe humanity discreetly, provided they didn't interfere excessively."
